11st of March, 2011 − ever biggest natural catastrophe in Japan: a 9.0 earthquake followed by a 16 meter high tsunami and radioactive contamination due to the damage of 4 nuclear reactors close to Tokyo.
At the end of March, 9 800 dead and 17 000 diappeared persons were counted. Hundred-thousands had to escape or were evacuated from the catastrophe-area.
