Koh Tao is one of the tiny island of  Thailand, only 21 square kilometers. Round forms worn stones of the steep banks provide only a narrow band of white sand. Boating around the island, swimming with the black-tipped sharks in the Shark Bay, or observing the amazing underwater coral life of the Japanese-garden evokes paradise-feelings in the tourists.

Koh Tao can be reached by ship from Koh-Samuiról or Koh Phangan.

resindets of the island are trying to implement a comprehensive environmental program for water and electricity use and waste minimization, otherwise the presence of
100,000 tourists per year would quickly deteriorate the tiny island.
