Koh Lipe is one of the tourist paradises of the Andaman Sea, near the the border of Malaysia, the South of Thailand, about 1,000 kilometers from Bangkok.
The small island is specialized for serving tourists, we can find plenty of cozy taverns, clubs, shops.
White sandy beaches, and several possibilities around the island for snorkelling and diving to admire coral islands.
The island is part of the Tarutao Marine National Park, which was placed under UNESCO protection in 1974. It occupies 1,500 square kilometers at the Thai−Malaysian border. A lot of small and larger islands belong to it, such as Koh Tarutao, Koh Adang, Koh Rawi, Koh Lipe, Koh Klang, Koh Ba Tuang, Koh Si Bits, etc..
Koh Lipe can be reached from Pak Barr (or Pakbara) in Thailand or from Langkawi Island in Malaysia.
