The  rock-like blocks deposited along the way of the devastating flood are broken pieces of the drifted dyke. The dyke was constructed from fly ash and slag (ash and slag from the combution of brown coal in the power plant). The fly ash has similar puzzolan activity to the cement, for this reason it is cheap and suitable for construction of waste storage facility walls/ dykes.
